Only the reliable "protective grounding" of electric mobile equipment is an effective means of protection to prevent personnel from electric shock. "Protective grounding" is to connect the metal body with the grounding trunk line by dragging the grounding core wire of the cable with electric mobile equipment. The connection and disconnection of the grounding core wire of the cable is the key to the protective grounding. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the grounding core of the cable.
The FD-GFGC-Z100 is a microprocessor based combined ground wire monitoring and ground fault relay resistance grounded or solid grounded system. It continuously monitors the integrity of the ground conductor to protect portable equipment from dangerous voltages caused by ground faults. The FD-GFGC-Z100 is used to monitor streamers on large mobile equipment such as mining shovels, shore-to-ship power cables, quayside cranes, stacker reclaimers, submersible pumps and portable conveyors.
The FD-GFGC-Z100 product includes two functions of ground fault inspection and ground core wire monitoring. The zero-sequence current of the cable is collected by the FD-GFGC-CS100 zero-sequence current sensor. When a ground fault occurs in the system, or the cable is damaged and causes leakage, the device trips to cut off the power supply and triggers an alarm to monitor the system ground fault. At the same time, it can Detect the connection status of FD-GFGC-CS100 zero-sequence current sensor, when the sensor connection is disconnected or the short circuit is damaged, it will trigger the device system open circuit or short circuit alarm function. By connecting the FD-GFGC-T100 ground monitoring terminal assembly to the ground core wire inspection port, the monitoring and alarm of the open circuit, short circuit and abnormal ground resistance of the power system ground wire can be realized, which effectively improves the safety detection of the power system mobile cable performance.
